Join us in prayer for a spiritual revival across India, that hearts may turn to God, lives may be transformed, churches may be strengthened, and the love of Christ may reach every community, city, and village.
In the 1970s, Bro. Abraham Rajapandian, Dr. Jeevanandam, Dr. DGS Dinakaran, and P. Devadasan spent many days in prayer at the feet of the Lord, seeking guidance on how to bring about the revival of the nation.
Based on this calling, an all-night prayer meeting was initiated in 1972 at the Periyar Thidal in Chennai. This gathering began at 9 pm and continued until the early hours of the following day, concluding at 5 am. Thousands of believers gathered to pray fervently for the revival of the nation. Due to insufficient space, it was shifted to the VP Hall in Chennai and held on the first Friday night of every month. Over five thousand believers took part in the prayer, fervently seeking the revival of the nation. Hallelujah.
The fire of prayer that spread from Chennai caught fire in the cities of Bengaluru, Madurai, Tirunelveli, Trichy, Salem, and Mumbai. Within a few months, pastors and evangelists in many cities across India began holding all-night prayer meetings for revival.
According to the rules of the Tamil Nadu government, the All-Night Prayer Ministry was organised under the name of ‘All India All-Night Prayer Fellowship’ under the Tamil Nadu Associations Act, with Bro Simon Stanley as the President, Bro Abraham Rajapandian as the General Secretary, Mrs Annathai as the treasurer along with some members, and it was registered as a society in 1983. Currently, we have established 220 all-night prayer sites across India and are praying for the speedy revival of our Indian nation.
Then, for the revival of the nation, we have been conducting Prayer Warrior camps every year on Republic Day and Independence Day, i.e., on January 25th and 26th and August 14th and 15th, at places indicated by the Lord since 1976. The first camp was held in Kanyakumari and the second camp was held in Madurai.
We are committed to seeking God through prayer, encouraging believers to stand together in faith, and praying for revival in every city, village, church, family, and community. Through prayer, Gospel outreach, and faithful service, we desire to see lives changed and communities renewed by the love and grace of Jesus Christ.
Let us unite in prayer for a spiritual revival across India. Pray for hearts to turn to God, families to be strengthened, churches to be renewed, and communities to experience the transforming power of God's love and grace.
